Chiller and Dry Cooler Cooling Units

Thanks to the special selection program with the Technowell, it's possible to calculate total costs and return on investment times for chiller or dry coolers. Investment on RO-FOG has an average return period of 4-6 months. Capacity and investment can be calculated easily with selections for different chillers and dry coolers. Program also reveals the condenser input air temperature and approximate capacity difference from the psychometric diagram with the help of evaporative cooling.

In air cooled condensers or dry coolers, the liquid within the device is cooled with the help of the external air. What makes the cooling liquid be condensed is that the air absorbed from the environment absorbs heat from the condenser while passing by the surface of the condenser. Increase in external air temperature, particularly extreme hot weather in the summer times, causes condensation temperature (condensing) to rise and the air conditioning system operates ineffciently. In such times, efforts are made to ensure that temperature of the inlet air is dropped to the wet thermometer temperature by washing the surfaces of the condenser with low pressure water from time to time. In all systems without Reverse Osmosis (RO), condenser fins will be calcified and copper pipe or aluminum wings will start to be pierced through corrosion. This means that condensers or dry coolers become completely dysfunctional after a few years.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) system is applied as an intelligent solution for both facilities having this problem, and ensures that condensation temperature is dropped by dropping the external temperature by 5 to 20 °C in extreme temperatures calculated and that compressor consumes less energy.

Water cooling assemblies and dry coolers cool the other liquid within them via air and the decrease in the external air temperature increases their efficiency. Evaporative cooling are more widely used in the recent years and an increase of efficiency up to 40% is achieved as the temperature of the air in contact with the battery surface gets close to the wet thermometer temperature. Whereas, the gaps between fins are blocked due to calcification resulting from the use of water or the battery is seriously damaged as a result of flaking due to pH instability. If users don't take measures, they'll have to replace the battery of their devices within a few years.
